art·work (ärt'wûrk')
1. the production of artistic or craft objects.
2. the object so produced.

I consider scroll sawn wood "objects" as artwork versus "crafts."  Nothing wrong with crafts per se, however I prefer the term artwork--to each his/her own I guess.

"He who works with his hands is a laborer,
He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman,
He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist."
St. Francis of Assisi (1182 - 1226)
Monk, Philosopher, Founder of the Franciscan Order of Friars

I don't currently do this to earn a living, but will most likely grow into that avenue once I retire from the USAF.  What you will see in the accompanying pages is some of my artwork over the past 16 years, most of it more recent since December 2005.
